Body in Trouble Summary
Nancy Mairs is physically ill and also becoming elderly, forsaid in her words describing her disabilities, though she stands as a woman activist who's fighting for women's equality. Woman endure substantially more pain physically and mentally than men and it's unfair. Though Mairs shows that she physically may not be able to stand up and prove herself better than looked upon, she can still voice everything in writing. She brings a rather powerful and deeper meaning to the saying,"The pen is mightier than the sword." I believe that even though you may have physically disabilities, you still are capable of strength in many ways, and knowledge and litericousy are alternate forms of power as opposed to physical strengths.
