3 Possible Problems For Research Paper

1.) Helping the homeless of Seattle. Starting a campaign to try to help end homelessness and or giving out food and warm clothing/blankets.
2.)Anti-bullying presentations along with bringing bullying awareness to local schools and informing the students of the serious threat it has caused amongst people in today's society.
3.)Park safety help, call of action to help make our local parks a safer environment for people during the day and especially in the evenings and night. Gathering people to start night watches and protect local people.

Summary of article: "If Black Is Not A Language, Tell Me What Is."

The dialects that are incorporated in different areas of the world affect one another by adding a label to each individual. The high end people were able to tell your ethnicity, worth, age range, and background from just your dialect alone with that label and unjustly would judge based upon that. Southern accents and discourses may use different word choices or more abbreviations in their speech, but that doesn't mark them as less intelligent than any other person no matter what some snobby English man may say, and the unjustly act of judgement upon black people for their dialects and accents are a reflection of the white peoples unfair treatment of not helping educate these people and help them further their education. Stupid white people.>:(

Malcolm X Prison Stories Rhetorical Analysis

When reading this article, I found myself to be caught off guard by how much Malcolm relates to my personality in being hooked on something in the hardest of times and challenges. He especially relates to my cousin, whom is incarcerated as well and has adapted to reading and studying consistently in his down time in jail. I feel inspired to know that I have a personal connection with this article and more importantly, this writer, in which can engross me more to the understanding of the importance or reading and studying, even for those who aren't as educated. They can learn even by themselves and grow in steps towards a better being. I feel that Malcolm's empowerment came from being behind bars for he learned to coupe and grow at the same time instead of sulking in misery. It was a great learning experience and example of self discipline in the making. A lot of people could learn a lot just from reading this article. I know I did.

Body in Trouble Summary

Nancy Mairs is physically ill and also becoming elderly, forsaid in her words describing her disabilities, though she stands as a woman activist who's fighting for women's equality. Woman endure substantially more pain physically and mentally than men and it's unfair. Though Mairs shows that she physically may not be able to stand up and prove herself better than looked upon, she can still voice everything in writing. She brings a rather powerful and deeper meaning to the saying,"The pen is mightier than the sword." I believe that even though you may have physically disabilities, you still are capable of strength in many ways, and knowledge and litericousy are alternate forms of power as opposed to physical strengths.

They Treat Girls Differently, Don't They? Summary

In the article,'They Treat Girls Differently, Don't They?', professionals diagnose the issue of how girls get different attention in the classroom than the boys do. Teachers were tested and 4 out of 5 had agreed to picking the boys for answering a question, over the girls in the class. When I read this article, it hit me that I seemed to see this in past years of schooling and I realized that this is true. I highly agree with a lot of the facts the author points out as well, such as how teachers will pick the boys more to keep them engaged with the class and not to be distracted. Along with the fact that girls are more likely to be organized, focused and attentive in a learning environment. I fear that the neglect to the girls may cause future problems such as jobs or further educational experiences, for it affects confidence, and I feel that boys need to act more like their female counterpart to help the confidence of the girls but also to help improve on school work or test taking.
